I’m not one to normally write about couples but this story made my eyebrows lift up.

Okay here we have Megan Fox (the winner of how many times can I bend over in the Transformers 2 film) and her off/on boyfriend formally from Beverly Hills 90210 (don’t get me started on that show with not a black person in sight).

Okay, back to the news, they met in 2004 and started dating, news is now that they have agreed to an open relationship but the terms are is that she can date other men but he can’t date other women (this is where I say wtf) so she can do what she likes and he can’t unless his into guys (oh) not saying that he is but they just said no other girls on his part (ummm) anyway I guess she is the boss and she run tings.

It’s claimed that Megan has six months to decide if she wants to wed him. (I think a lot guys will be in line before the 6 months then)

All I can say is dam what happen to double standards...

It is rumoured that Gary coleman,Eddie Griffin & Bobb'e J Thompson (kid from Role Model) are reading the script for the main starring role.

Bruno - Film Review

Now this film has had a lot of hype and I have to give credit to the people marketing this film because you can't go anywhere and not see a poster or trailer of this film..

Okay now Sacha brought us Borat. I was one of them people who was like errrr nah I'm not watching that. So after the hype I got it for cheap (play.com, I should have shares in this company) anyway to much of my surpise I loved it and could not stop laughing.

So Sacha comes up with another character, a gay model is looking to become famous after he is shut out of his homeland. I'm used to being shocked but this film jumped over the border line so many times I lost count. From gay sex and a penis gag that will make the faint hearted leave the cinemas, this film is still packed a lot of laughter. Big note if u don’t wish to see a penis on a large cinema screen then this is not for you. Please note I had no idea about this so I was shocked as everybody else was. (lol)

Do I think its better then Borat, nah

Do I say go and watch it (only if you want to be shocked a little)

I’ll give this a 4/10.

Lessons In Literacy #1 ...that's literacy with a Crooked I!

OK i'll admit, a lot of the time I am a stickler for correct spelling, pronunciation and the like. Obviously when you are texting, instant messaging etc it's less important. I know it seems cool amongst the ganstas (deliberate!) out there to dumb down, because hey, it ain't cool to be nerdy over a bunch of words you can still read anyway right?!

Well sometimes it's good to pay attention....case in point Crooked I. For those of you that don't know, Crooked I is an MC who hails from the west coast (of America, i don't mean Wales) and by all accounts is decent. Along with Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden and Royce da 5'9 he has formed the "Supergroup" that is Slaughterhouse. What better way to celebrate the forthcoming release of your new group's debut album than with a new tattoo. Now correct me if i'm wrong but can you see something wrong with the new ink?! First Gatti, Now Forrest...Damn

As if boxing wasn't a dangerous enough sport, I guess you can never train to defend against your wife strangling you with her handbag (Gatti) or bullets in your back as another star loses his life.

Vernon Forrest, a former two-division champion who gained stardom when he became the first boxer to defeat Shane Mosley, was shot to death in what police are calling an attempted robbery.

Atlanta police Sgt. Lisa Keyes said in an e-mail Sunday that the 38-year-old Forrest was shot several times in the back late Saturday night on a street just southwest of downtown. Keyes said there were no suspects.

Fulton County medical examiner Michele Stauffenberg confirmed the case was a homicide and that the autopsy showed Forrest died from "multiple gunshot wounds involving the torso and thigh." Keyes said a police report on the shooting was not immediately available.

Charles Watson, the boxer's manager, said police and witnesses told him that Forrest had stopped at a gas station to put air in his car tire when a man approached asking for money.

"Somehow, Vernon had his wallet out and the guy snatched his wallet and started running," Watson said. "Vernon pursued after him. The guy turned the corner and Vernon didn't see him. He turned around to go back to the car. That's when he started firing."

Watson said Forrest's 11-year-old godson was with him, but had gone into the convenience store and did not witness the shooting. (source: The Huffington Post)

It's a Boy...Called Knight

Kelis & Nas have named their son Knight. The estranged couple who are currently in the middle of an acrimonious divorce welcome their first child into the world

Nas was not present at the birth as he was barred. Gossip website TMZ reports: “After a performance in New York last night (21.07.09) where he told fans he was hammered on champagne, Nas tried to roll by Kelis’ hospital room around 1am this morning (22.07.09). But we’re told Nas was turned away because he was too wasted.”

Nas tut tut…. Kelis filed for Divorce in April and the reasons being irreconcilable differences. Kelis has hinted about him cheating and tired of Nas’ verbal abuse.

Personally i'm a fan of the "mashups" you get between designers and the big sports brands, especially when it comes to trainers. For example Y-3 (Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas) and Alexander McQueen x Puma.

American artist Rolland Berry puts his stamp on the classics that are Reebok Pumps. I've got to admit at first look i just thought..no thanks. As usual with alot of these designs though, the beauty is in the detail. Close up you see the detail and comic book style design and i've got to say i'm actually quite liking them. I'd probably have to have a matching fitted though! :)


MAHARISHI x ADIDAS STAN SMITH
Always been a fan of Stan Smiths, the classic tennis shoe. Only gripe i had was the fronts come away a bit too easily. Anyway minor gripe aside here is a twist on that old classic with a more than a splash of Maharishi. Again as with the Reeboks it's all in the details. The Maharishi logo is used near the heel and on the inside is a "Mahadidas" lining. I like!

NEW RAKIM!!...No really!

After years of false dawns it seems Rakim is finally set to drop his "7th Seal" album. Put your hand up if you got excited when he signed to Aftermath....only for another long wait, not quite up to Detox proportions, but long enough, his "Oh My God" album got canned and he left the label.

This track has recently been put out as supposedly the first release off his new album due this autumn.

Gran Torino - Film Review

When I first heard about this film I was like what is this old man going to do cha dam silly idea. Mr Honest thought wrong as this old man had issues and was grumpy as hell which was funny. Clint Eastwood still has the one liners and the look that tells you don’t want to mess with me (bad man forward, bad man pull up lol sorry had to put it in somewhere). A lot of the time this film had me in stitches and I can not recall a dull moment.

Plot
The death of his wife starts the film of and then you get to meet Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) is a disgruntled war vet who is very tough minded and lack of people skills (wishing I was like him when I get older). The story is mainly about his relationship with his new neighbors who come from a different country (boy they can pack out their house). Well Walt has his dog for his best friend but his prize possession is his 1972 Gran Torino (even I wanted it). The teenager named Thao who lives next door (one of them quiet types) is under pressure from one of his cousins to steal Walt’s Gran Torino for initiation to the gang. The film takes a journey with Walt, Thao and his sister. He opens up and builds up a friendship with the family next door. Not going tell you much more as I see this as a must see.

Verdict
I really enjoyed it and thought it was a good film and it was well done. Loved the dialog between the characters, the storyline was nicely built up. This is no doubt a must see and I think it has earned the hype behind it…

I give it an 8/10 well above average….Clint Eastwood is the man….

With the NBA finals all done & dusted (well done Kobe Magic coaching staff what were you thinking) the attention now turns to the draft & Trade mayhem & this year didn’t disappoint.

First off the big trades Shaq has moved to the Cavs to Quote “Get a ring for the king!” Vince Carter has moved to the Magic & with that Hedo Turkoglu said no thanks & moved the Raptors. Ron Artest & Trevor Ariza swapped jerseys Laker & Rockets(I would have love to have heard kobe reaction when he heard that news) Rasheed Wallace has decided late Sunday night to join the Green three at the Celtics. This should make for an interesting year for the East.

On a lighter note Shaq sings (well Britney Spears lip sinks) to Akon after signing for the Cavs.

The Hangover - Review ... Must see film!

The Hangover……Release date 11/Jun/09

Okay so here comes another road trip idea of a film (which enters my mind)…how many more can one brain take…

Okay so the idea is nothing new a stag do for Doug and his boys, 2 days before he gets married, they plan a night out in Las Vegas. When they wake up the next morning to which none of them have no ideas on the events that took place the night before. A Tiger in the bath room, the groom is missing and a banging hangover.

I sat down with an open mind (wishing this would entertain me) my wish came true, oh yes this had jokes and one liners that even I would copy and paste. Even Mike Tyson playing himself was fun. It is a pick up the clues film with rude jokes and the lads’ intake of having fun.

I’m sure if you like films such as the 40 year old virgin, Superbad, Role Model and I love you man. Then this is for you. The comedy is up there with these titles.

I give this 8/10 as this had me in some stitches….a must watch, a film that will make u bust your gut with laugher.
