Now Google have given us some cool pieces of artwork and nice twists on the Google logo in the past to celebrate anniversaries but their latest one is the best ever!

Go to google.com now and witness and play for yourself....GOOGLE PACMAN! I kid you not!

Enjoy!!!!

p.s. i just found out if you click 'insert coin' underneath the game you can play 2 player! Player 2 uses W,S,A,D to move and has Ms Pacman as the character.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - World Premiere Trailer

All the gamers out there with the slightest interest in a good shoot-em-up will no doubt have at least one of the Call of Duty series of games in their collection.

Personally i'm not a big fan of World War 2 games but I love the Modern Warfare editions.

Next in line to be released is Call of Duty: Black Ops which is due for release November this year.

Check out the official trailer below. Looks like another hit to me!

Zero Punctuation Games Reviews

Taken from his own words... Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw is "a British-born, currently Australian-based writer and gamer with a sweet hat and a chip on his shoulder. When he isn't talking very fast into a headset mic he also designs freeware adventure games and writes the back page column for PC Gamer, who are too important to mention us. His personal site is www.fullyramblomatic.com."

Anyway, Zero Punctuation is his games review series, you will quickly notice the why it is named so when you check out the reviewing style. To put it simply, if you are tired of stuffy, witless or plain boring games reviews you need take a look. As well as being pretty damn funny, I usually find the reviews to be spot-on. He manages to find the annoyances and glitches in even your favourite games and as for games that are plain crap to begin with, well they get no mercy!

So, if you have never seen any before here are a couple of examples!...oh and by the way, if you are offended by strong language, you may well be better off making a cuppa instead...and maybe you should go and lighten up a bit...

DJ Hero Advert

Check out the new advert for the upcoming DJ Hero game. Can't lie looks kinda fun! If it's half as good as the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games I think i'm gonna have to cop it.

As for the ad, nice job. My only gripe is that I would had loved for it to be endorsed by an actual DJ. Don't get me wrong, good job gettin Jay-Z and Eminem to back it, that's some major pulling power. Just imagine if you had Jazzy Jeff playing behind them though!...Then again, these kids nowadays would just say "what's that guy from the fresh prince doing in there?!"

FIFA 10 vs Pro Evo 2010 - LB's Verdict

Previously we questioned who would come out on top in the latest battle between the biggest football game franchises on the market. After having a play of both I am now ready to decide which side of the fence I will fall...

A little history - Fifa burst onto gaming consoles in late 1993 challenging the previous dominance of classics such as Sensible Soccer and Kick Off. It turned into a massive series, especially after Fifa 95 when official licences were used and Fifa's trademark presentation began. Over the years however Fifa has been accused and in my opinion guilty, of style over substance.

Pro Evolution Soccer, originally ISS Pro, was released originally in 1997. The series has gradually grown and evolved (excuse the pun) over the years and become critically acclaimed as the footballer's football game. There were limited official licences and the commentary and presentation were laughable at times, but the gameplay shone through.

So bringin us back up to date...I have mentioned before my massive disappointment of last year's edition of Pro Evolution Soccer. It was if anything a backward step when really a leap forward was needed to rejuvenate the series. Prior to Pro '09 I can say hand on heart that I hated Fifa with a passion and thought it wasn't worthy of lacing Pro's boots...or loading it's disc in the tray maybe. I am happy to say this year's Pro Evo 2010 is an improvement on last years rubbish, BUT, i'm sad to say not a massive improvement. The players still seem sluggish and some of the AI movement will drive you insane. It's main downfall though I believe is in underestimating the competition.

Last year Fifa grew up. It stepped out of the Hollywood starlight and decided to get it's boots muddy, resulting in a game with depth and the trademark gloss. The movement of the players and silky control felt just right, aside from the OTT sliding tackles at times but i'll allow that. The game just felt natural and I was ashamed to admit it at first but Fifa was now on top. After sampling this year's game it looks like they've tweaked it just enough to stay on top too, completing my conversion to the "dark side"! With closer on-the-ball control and the game being made a tad quicker, the slickness is still there.

Overall i'd have to say it's a no brainer and any die-hard Pro Evo fans need to wake up and smell the coffee (includin you Mr 2Drinks!). It almost hurts me to say it but Fifa is champ for another year.

FIFA 10 vs Pro Evo 2010

It's that time of year again, the new football season has kicked off and a debate that has raged for years continues...no it's not the one about how can Yakubu only be 22 still? It's FIFA vs PRO! This debate rarely leaves anyone sitting on the fence, you are one side or the other.

I have been a die-hard Pro Evolution Soccer fan since the beginning, it was always the footballer's football game. Maybe it didn't have the polish and flair in presentation of it's rival but as any true gamer knows, it's the gameplay that counts. Pro Evo has grown from underdog to top dog gradually....until last year...

Last year's 2009 release saw a major shift in gameplay and when I say major shift I mean in a backwards direction. So much so I put on a disguise so nobody would recognise me and rented FIFA. I was shocked, it couldn't be. I actually preferred FIFA. To me this was like being forced to eat custard and reluctantly liking it, so much so I wanted more.

This year i'm torn, for once it's not a no brainer, both will have to have serious consideration.

Which one will you buy?!

Lean, Green, Playstation 3

Remember when Sony released the Playstation 2 Slimline? What an improvement that was on the original brick they threw out. Well thankfully they've done it again.

Ok so now for the science...

* 120gb hard drive
* 32% smaller than the standard PS3
* 36% lighter than the standard PS3
* Uses 34% less power than the standard PS3
* Should retail at £249
* Has Sony Bravia sync feature allowing control via TV remote and it will switch off when the TV is turned off.
- It will only have 2 USB ports
- No feature for installing other OS's (so no more linux on PS3 for you geeks)

(Click picture to enlarge)

It's a great look for the PS3 and will no doubt boost sales. Is it enough to close the gap on the Xbox 360 and Wii? Time will tell, although i'll stick with my 360 for now. Even if it breaks I could still replace it for about £100 cheaper than the new PS3.
