I believe my prayers have been answered people, I'm liking the trailer....do I have to say much beside I pity the fool lol...This film has been in production for some time and its due for release in June (oh yes), I can't wait...oh and yes that is possible for a tank to do that (I did it last night lol!) watch the trailer and you will know what i'm talking about....
The Karate Kid is coming back with a remake starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan and being produced by Will Smith.
The storyline is staying the same. A new kid in town (Smith) is bullied by his classmates and learns martial arts (in this case kung fu, not karate... I wonder if they will change the title to Kung Fu Kid?) from the maintenance man (Chan) so he can defend himself against the students of Li Quan Ha’s Fighting Dragon school.
Question is and I know you're wondering too, will it have the wax on and wax off?! lol…. This might ruin my past of the old school Karate Kid (Daniel son). Come on don’t act as if you didn't watch it!

Disney's latest film sounds like the usual Disney production with it's fairytale story of magic and princesses but look a bit further into it and it is a historic release. There have been 8 previous Disney princesses but this film brings us their first ever black princess.
Princess Tiana is voiced by singer and actress Anika Nonie Rose who says "It's a really wonderful thing for children to be able to look at this princess and say, 'it looks just like my friend - she's a princess too,'". "It's a long time coming but I'm glad it's here."
I'd have to agree with her, but more than that, for all those little girls (and some bigger ones who I know still love the Disney films!) to have a character that they can watch and feel a connection with, knowing that not all princesses are blonde and blue eyed.
Bonnie Greer alluded to the fact that although it's a bold move by Disney, they are never going to miss a trick when it comes to making more money. "Since Disney is always looking at the bottom line, they figured it's about time,".
With that being said, credit where it is due, although a lot of people will probably think 'what's the fuss?', the film has been in production since before Obama came into power and it's good to know moves like this are happening so that in future nobody will bat an eye.
Apparently the process of finishing the film was a tough process as the company gathered prominent black organisations and individuals to view the film and give their views on whether any of it could come across as offensive. Whichever bright spark did that may want to come and advise the UK government too rather than have them dictate to us what is PC or not on racial issues, seemingly without asking the people it would effect in the first place.
Anyway, in summary, well done Disney and I shall ask my niece whether the film was any good!
Here is a new film set for the big screen in 2010 March, starring Flawless, Diversity and George (he is not that good) Sampson.
I just want to see if it can test the likes of U Got Served and Stomp the Yard (notice I did not mention Honey), lol anyway moving on, for the dance peeps this is for you.
I want to see how much of a part Flawless has as I still think they're the better dancers.

Battle Royale – Big Asian movie is getting a Western remake.
The Evil Dead – One of the most loved horror films is getting a facelift.
Knight Rider – Please try to forget the recent TV crap. The original creator of Knight Rider – Glen A Larson – is working on the screenplay.
Conan The Barbarian – They’re still working on this one. I mean I heard about this years ago and the person then tipped to play him was Triple H (yes the guy with no neck from WWE).
The Thing – One of my most loved horror films. Beg they don’t ruin this (why Hollywood, why must u even touch).
Death Wish - Sylvester Stallone is set to step into the role made famous by late great Charles Bronson in a remake of Michael Winner’s violent original. Stallone is set to write, produce and star, and production is planned to start at some point this year.

Deadpool
Yes people after the box office success of the Wolverine movie, there is going to be a spin off Deadpool film. Yippee I hear you say as Ryan Reynolds part in the film had fans wanting more. Yes this is true and rumours are true about a Wolverine sequel too with more of Gambit, who for me was a disappointment, but hey tell it how it is I say. No release dates and when filming will begin hasn’t been schedule as yet so hold tight.

Dreamworks are working on doing a Martin Luther King Jr biopic, with none other than Steven Spielberg being one of the producers. The reason why there has not been any film about such a iconic man so far is mainly because Dr Martin Luther King Jr, who was assassinated in 1968 in Memphis at the age of 39, copyrighted his speeches, books and famous works during his lifetime. The Dreamworks project marks the first film to be authorized by King's estate and gives the producers the right to utilize King's intellectual property -- including his famous "I Have a Dream" speech delivered during the 1963 March on Washington -- to create the definitive portrait of his life. Question is who will play him? Cast your votes.
Inglorious Bastards
This is a new film from the director who bought you Pulp Friction, Dust til Dawn, Kill Bill and etc. Yes Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming WWII film features Brad Pitt and Samuel Jackson. The film is set in the era of World War II, with a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Bastards", chosen to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. (You got to love Quentin Tarantino for this).

He breeds with one o' dem and unleashes a young arf breed pikni who later becomes disillusioned with the lack of parental guidance from his black farda and becomes the 'Vex Prisoner of Afghanistan'.
It is rumoured that Gary coleman,Eddie Griffin & Bobb'e J Thompson (kid from Role Model) are reading the script for the main starring role.

Six-3 & Jigs aka CEOs Of Ten Dollar Ent.
Now this film has had a lot of hype and I have to give credit to the people marketing this film because you can't go anywhere and not see a poster or trailer of this film..
Okay now Sacha brought us Borat. I was one of them people who was like errrr nah I'm not watching that. So after the hype I got it for cheap (play.com, I should have shares in this company) anyway to much of my surpise I loved it and could not stop laughing.
So Sacha comes up with another character, a gay model is looking to become famous after he is shut out of his homeland. I'm used to being shocked but this film jumped over the border line so many times I lost count. From gay sex and a penis gag that will make the faint hearted leave the cinemas, this film is still packed a lot of laughter. Big note if u don’t wish to see a penis on a large cinema screen then this is not for you. Please note I had no idea about this so I was shocked as everybody else was. (lol)
Do I think its better then Borat, nah

Over the last weekend, every comic book/film/Tv/sci-fi geek made the yearly pilgrimage to Comic-Con International: San Diego, why I hear you ask?
Well because it's the only time they get to leave their bedrooms, dress up like the comic heroes & villains (yes there are women there), just as bad as the man/geeks.
Plus film directors got to show clips of forthcoming films...and from what I've seen so far..DAMMMMMM..looks like this xmas 09 & next summer 2010 going to be very interesting..

When I first heard about this film I was like what is this old man going to do cha dam silly idea. Mr Honest thought wrong as this old man had issues and was grumpy as hell which was funny. Clint Eastwood still has the one liners and the look that tells you don’t want to mess with me (bad man forward, bad man pull up lol sorry had to put it in somewhere). A lot of the time this film had me in stitches and I can not recall a dull moment.
Plot
The death of his wife starts the film of and then you get to meet Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) is a disgruntled war vet who is very tough minded and lack of people skills (wishing I was like him when I get older). The story is mainly about his relationship with his new neighbors who come from a different country (boy they can pack out their house). Well Walt has his dog for his best friend but his prize possession is his 1972 Gran Torino (even I wanted it). The teenager named Thao who lives next door (one of them quiet types) is under pressure from one of his cousins to steal Walt’s Gran Torino for initiation to the gang. The film takes a journey with Walt, Thao and his sister. He opens up and builds up a friendship with the family next door. Not going tell you much more as I see this as a must see.
Verdict
I really enjoyed it and thought it was a good film and it was well done. Loved the dialog between the characters, the storyline was nicely built up. This is no doubt a must see and I think it has earned the hype behind it…
I give it an 8/10 well above average….Clint Eastwood is the man….

Okay so here comes another road trip idea of a film (which enters my mind)…how many more can one brain take…
Okay so the idea is nothing new a stag do for Doug and his boys, 2 days before he gets married, they plan a night out in Las Vegas. When they wake up the next morning to which none of them have no ideas on the events that took place the night before. A Tiger in the bath room, the groom is missing and a banging hangover.
I sat down with an open mind (wishing this would entertain me) my wish came true, oh yes this had jokes and one liners that even I would copy and paste. Even Mike Tyson playing himself was fun. It is a pick up the clues film with rude jokes and the lads’ intake of having fun.
I’m sure if you like films such as the 40 year old virgin, Superbad, Role Model and I love you man. Then this is for you. The comedy is up there with these titles.
I give this 8/10 as this had me in some stitches….a must watch, a film that will make u bust your gut with laugher.
